The team at Arts Bar at 64 Degrees are nothing if not perfectionists, so neither hide nor hair has been seen of their cocktail bar housed inside this brand spanking new hotel opening in Pimlico. What we do know is that the owners (Justin Salisbury and Charlotte Newey) are not yet out of their 20s, yet already have highly esteemed hotel properties in both Brighton and Penzance which are both making us wonder why we ever stayed at big, corporate and comparatively impersonal joints before.
What we say:
Let's just say that details have not been quickly forthcoming on this secretive cocktail venture. So other than the vague yet endearing statement that this cocktail bar will overlook a bright, lavender-filled garden, we don't know what to expect from Arts Bar in Pimlico. Yet extrapolating from knowledge of big sister venues, we know that these guys bring a youthful sense of exuberance to every area of their property design; from eclectic interiors, to creative chefs, to boundary pushing cocktail connoisseurs. London is waiting for more word on this fresh new cocktail bar, but until then we're dreaming of big things.
