Beach Blanket Babylon is like stepping into a fictional, cavenous fariy-land. The decor is most definitely memorable and makes it stand out from its Notting Hill neighbours. You feel special here. The staff are quite friendly; not chummy chummy but by no means pretentious, which suits the place very well. The cocktail list is full and offers an interesting mix of the traditional and new. There are also some fantastic non-alcoholic cocktails for all you non-boozers. There is also an underground restaurant here but I am yet to try it. I would recommend Beach Blanket Babylon as one for pre-drinks before a night out in Notting Hill or its boho chic interior is perfect to impress on a first date.
