Aqua At The Shard is the dining experience at London Bridge's iconic new skyscraper The Shard. From the same people who bought London Aqua Kyoto and Aqua Nuevo (restaurants) as well as Aqua Spirit (bar); Aqua At The Shard covers the 31st floor and will offer different dining experiences alongside absolutely perfect views of the London skyline. The menu features British produce and combines the staple ingredients of British cooking with innovative techniques.
Spanning two wings, the 220-cover restaurant has been designed by Jestico + Whiles with Liberty fabrics complementing the dark oak floor. Linking the two wings is an atrium bar with three-storey high panoramic windows. The bar serves cocktails including two signature selections, one inspired by the botanicals used to make gin and the second by another most British staple - tea. The Devonshire Cream Cup combines gin, Aperol, crème de fraise, lemon curd, tarragon balsamic vinegar and lemon juice and is topped with Earl Grey ‘air’.
Aqua At The Shard will be one of London's finest skyline restaurants and the buzz surrounding it is palpable. We recommend it for drinks and dinner purely because of the spectacular views, it would also be a great place to entertain a client (if your boss is willing to pay for it).
A word from the chef:
The restaurant will feature an all-day dining menu featuring contemporary rotisserie dishes and a grill menu.
Going up The Shard fillls me with that giggly glee you only get when you’re a child: the views are spectacular, you can see it from nearly everywhere in the capital, and it’s a really, really big building. So obviously I wasn’t...
Can't wait to get up there and see what the views are like! I'm a sucker for a good view.
