An event SO exclusive, there is ONLY 1 ticket to be purchased! YOU decide when you would like Searcys to host you for this selection of rare and fine cuvées.

Join us for some of the finest Champagne on the planet at the stand-out Champagne event of the year, also in celebration of National Champagne Week.

With this ticket we invite you and four guests to explore the different aspects and subtleties in the making of fine and rare Champagnes – alongside a variety of sumptuous paired dishes. Enjoy five vintages from five illustrious houses and famous growers.

Something happens to Champagne when it is aged; evolution slows, factors come into play that we can’t always explain and out comes a variety of superbly rich, complex and unique Champagnes– and they are all differently amazing. Included in this mix and available exclusively for this event are a renowned range of vintage Champagnes from 1998 and 2000 including ; Duval-Leroy Femme de Champagne 2000, Dom Ruinart 1998 as well as Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Rosé 1998.

Fittingly, along with these world-class prestige cuvée Champagnes, we have renowned Champagne specialist Aurelien Durand presenting this event and he will be taking guests through what promises to be a fantastic journey of discovery. This is The Champagne Event of the year and one not to be missed.

Please see the list of our special selection cuvées which will be ready and chilled for guests on the evening:

Perrier-Jouët Belle-Epoque Rosé,  2005 (Limited Edition by Vik Muniz) - Perrier-Jouët combined with internationally acclaimed Brazilian visual artist Vik Muniz to design the limited edition of Belle Epoque Rosé 2005. Vik Muniz conceived the fairy-tale encounter of a dazzling golden hummingbird with the iconic Perrier-Jouët anemone. Described as “the most extravagant and graceful Perrier-Jouët wine of the Belle Epoque Collection” by Cellar Master Hervé Deschamps, the Belle Epoque Rosé 2005 is a wine whose charm and extravagance precisely mirrors Vik Muniz’s design adorning the bottle. A balance between  Chardonnay (34%) and  the richness of the Pinot Noirs (50%) from Mailly, Aÿ, Verzy and Rilly and the rounded aromas of red fruits from the Pinot Meuniers from Dizy (5%). Finally, Pinot Noir red wines (11%) added from Vertus and Vincelles give the wine its subtle and pure rosé hue.

Duval-Leroy Femme de Champagne, 2000- Femme de Champagne vintage 2000 is an outstanding example of a special year. It is in the line of other unforgettable vintages, 1990, 1995 and 1996. Its yellow gold colour carries fine strands of bubbles which reveal complex notes of a lively maturity:brioche, vanilla and wood aromas alternating with citrus fruits such as lemon and mandarin. After the fine initial burst of flavour in the mouth comes a silky touch interwoven with remarkable length on the palate. With its"Femme de Champagne", the Maison opens its doors to an unforgettable tasting experience.

Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, 1998 -  Dom Ruinart Vintage 1998 is blended 100% exclusively from Chardonnay Grand Crus grapes, with 66%from the Cote des Blancs and 34% from north of the Montagne de Reims vineyards.

What was  always seen as a very good year is now regarded as excellent. The wines are ripe, not overly ripe, fleshy but with structure to repay cellaring. Dom Ruinart have produced one of the very best. Elegance abounds, the nose is of citric fruit with notes of freshly cut bread and Spring flowers to the fore. On the palate the wine is long, its stone fruit beautifully balanced by hints of bergamot and honey. Finesse with quiet power, this is an archetype of Grand Cru Chardonnay from the very best vineyards of the Cote Des Blancs.

Veuve Clicquot LaGrande Dame Rose, 1998 - Named after the 'Grand Lady' and as a tribute the Widow Madame Clicquot, 'La Grand Dame' is flagship and pinnacle of Veuve Clicquot's style. Elegant, refined and delicate, Grand Dame is the utmost homage to the role she played in the formative years of the Champagne house. This Champagne is the quintessence of the Veuve Clicquot style which reaches a peak of refinement, without losing its legendary strength produced by a blend including nearly two-thirds of Pinot Noir, sourced from the Grands Crus of Ay,Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay and Bouzy. The Chardonnay, which rounds out the blend, is sourced exclusively from the three Grands Crus in the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.

Laurent-Perrier Grand Siecle, Multi Vintage - The first ever multi-vintage prestige cuvée to be introduced –-Grand Siècle, a name that celebrates the 17th century, the era of Louis XIV, the Sun King, was a time, which saw the flowering of the arts and the French art de vivre, and the birth of a new appreciation of fine food.

This is the ultimate champagne blend, employing wines from three vintage years with complementary characteristics and aged for at least six years. The best single vineyards within the Grands Crus areas aresourced. From these grands crus, only the best grapes from the best plots are selected in the best Laurent-Perrier vintage years. It has unique finesse and complexity with a remarkable length of honeyed, nutty flavours

Comprising approximately 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir, Grand Siècle by Laurent-Perrier is a blend of 11 of Champagne’s most prestigious grands crus, all rated 100 %. The Chardonnays are from Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The Pinots Noirs are from Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois, Mailly, Tours-sur-Marne, and Verzenay.
