Perrier-Jouët Belle-Epoque Rosé, 2005 (Limited Edition by Vik Muniz) - Perrier-Jouët combined with internationally acclaimed Brazilian visual artist Vik Muniz to design the limited edition of Belle Epoque Rosé 2005. Vik Muniz conceived the fairy-tale encounter of a dazzling golden hummingbird with the iconic Perrier-Jouët anemone. Described as “the most extravagant and graceful Perrier-Jouët wine of the Belle Epoque Collection” by Cellar Master Hervé Deschamps, the Belle Epoque Rosé 2005 is a wine whose charm and extravagance precisely mirrors Vik Muniz’s design adorning the bottle. A balance between Chardonnay (34%) and the richness of the Pinot Noirs (50%) from Mailly, Aÿ, Verzy and Rilly and the rounded aromas of red fruits from the Pinot Meuniers from Dizy (5%). Finally, Pinot Noir red wines (11%) added from Vertus and Vincelles give the wine its subtle and pure rosé hue.
Duval-Leroy Femme de Champagne, 2000- Femme de Champagne vintage 2000 is an outstanding example of a special year. It is in the line of other unforgettable vintages, 1990, 1995 and 1996. Its yellow gold colour carries fine strands of bubbles which reveal complex notes of a lively maturity:brioche, vanilla and wood aromas alternating with citrus fruits such as lemon and mandarin. After the fine initial burst of flavour in the mouth comes a silky touch interwoven with remarkable length on the palate. With its"Femme de Champagne", the Maison opens its doors to an unforgettable tasting experience.
Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, 1998 - Dom Ruinart Vintage 1998 is blended 100% exclusively from Chardonnay Grand Crus grapes, with 66%from the Cote des Blancs and 34% from north of the Montagne de Reims vineyards.
What was always seen as a very good year is now regarded as excellent. The wines are ripe, not overly ripe, fleshy but with structure to repay cellaring. Dom Ruinart have produced one of the very best. Elegance abounds, the nose is of citric fruit with notes of freshly cut bread and Spring flowers to the fore. On the palate the wine is long, its stone fruit beautifully balanced by hints of bergamot and honey. Finesse with quiet power, this is an archetype of Grand Cru Chardonnay from the very best vineyards of the Cote Des Blancs.
Veuve Clicquot LaGrande Dame Rose, 1998 - Named after the 'Grand Lady' and as a tribute the Widow Madame Clicquot, 'La Grand Dame' is flagship and pinnacle of Veuve Clicquot's style.
