Become an expert in cheese and wine tasting and pairing. Join Ducksoup restaurants for a masterclass on the subject to help you gain a greater understanding of how to taste and buy cheese, and pair different cheeses with wine and food.
You'll taste 5-6 different cheeses, learn how they're made, when they're at their best, what to look for, and how to pair them with wine and food. The class will take you through the cheeses and their characteristics, which will be plated and paired with an accompaniment and a glass of wine. The wine list will be put together by Ancestral wines, and each wine will be discussed in detail, its characteristics, how its made and why its perfectly paired to the cheese.
We've invited two great experts, Abundance (formerly Androulet), the celebrated cheese shop in Spitalfields Market and Ancestral wines, who we buy may of our natural wines from. This class is ideal for anyone who wants to learn about wine and cheese, and its the perfect opportunity to hear two great experts talk about their subject matter.
