Friday 13th gets a spooky title but nothing less than incredible soul drenched house from a crack squad of DJs. On the decks will be the legendary Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson, Phil Asher and Rhemi Music.
A key player in the development of the house scene in London, Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson has come from cutting his teeth through Jazz/Funk sessions at the infamous Crackers, to one of the original DJs on Kiss FM, a ten year stint running his party The Loft, his own record label and new parties Trouble’s Loft and Back to my Roots. It is with great pleasure we welcome him back to our basement.
Phil Asher is undoubtedly one of the UK’s most prolific dj/producers and has been indispensable to the progressive musical landscape over the past 15 years. Phil has completed well in excess of 200 of his own productions, as well as innumerable remixes. From his first gig at Legends and London’s first House club Delirium in 1991 to more recent gigs at, Inspiration Information, and Soul Heaven at Ministry of Sound in London, Phil has played the length and breadth of the UK, as well as the globe.
Rhemi Music is a production duo and music label with the soul purpose of releasing of good quality dance music and founded by Neil Pierce & Ziggy Funk. The same can be said for their DJ sets and when taking on the basement during 2014, they had the venue shaking with stunning house beats. If you like soul in your music, this is not an event you should be missing.
