Carnivale

Forged in the aftermath of Elite Force's sky-shattering sets at the Burning Man festival, Carnivale aims to bring a touch of flamboyance and showmanship to the underground London club scene. As well as the event's curator himself, DJs include the ghetto bass sounds of Supatronix and Hot Cakes' Jurassik and the deep underground breakbeats of US DJ The Scritch, a regular at the Nexus Sound System Camp at Burning Man itself. Support comes from Final Conflict and Martin Chandler, but this night will be about more than just the DJs.

Also performing are the fabulous Chivaree Circus, circus of discord and harmony, a troupe of international performers dedicated to the circus arts led by London's Edward Gosling and Laurane Marchive of Paris. Anna the Hulagan, described by the Times as "London's cult hula hooping artiste" is planning something very special for her show, and the event will be hosted by the magical Shiva Ashman.

We've delighted to be launching in Trapeze's brand new club venue, with its circus-style decor and underground basement vibe, to showcase an evening of bacchanalian mischief-making and serious bass aimed at the true denizens of London's subterranean club culture.
