Join us for a series of boozy beer blend events with Siren Craft Brew.
Siren Craft Brew was founded in 2012 and since then have hit the craft beer scene by storm, winning a number of awards and brewing unusual beers.
The first part of this series is a beer & whisky pairing on 1st November, you’ll be joined by Ruben, Siren’s Brand Ambassador, who will take you through three beers that have been specially chosen to be paired with a whisky or bourbon. You will learn how the is brewed and the special ingredients used. You’ll then be guided through the tasting of pairing a whisky to the beer. The beers chosen are Soundwave IPA, Liquid Mistress Red IPA and Broken Dream Breakfast Stout. These will be paired with Hibiki, Makers Mark Bourbon & Laphroig.

The second in the series Ruben will be back, and this time to talk about using beer as an ingredient in cocktails. This will not be as you know it... no Lageritas or Black Velvets here. For this the beer will be reduced down to enhance the flavours of the beers to twist up three classic cocktails.
Over the course of the evening you’ll learn about the history of the cocktails, as well as learn how to make them, these will be an Espresso Martini, an Old Fashioned and a Bloody Mary. Stayed tune to find out which beers we will be using.
