We are thrilled to present a show paying homage to the genius of one of the most eminent blues artists in history: Howlin' Wolf.
For one night only, a group of London's finest blues musicians will be re-creating the magic of the blues with a live performance of the seminal album Moanin' in the Moonlight. From "Moanin' at Midnight", to "Evil" to "Smokestack Lightin'", expect a journey through the classic blues tunes which have made his name.
Few would dispute Howlin' Wolf's contribution to the blues genre. originally hailing from Mississippi, he has become known as one of the most famous purveyors of Chicago Blues in history.
His performance style, characterised by his booming voice and assertive physical presence, and unique talent for songwriting have added to his legendary status. Indeed, he was named in 51st place in Rolling Stone's influential 2004 list of the greatest artists of all time.
