Following on from their winter Moroccan Medina, Shoreditch hotspot The Queen of Hoxton have announced that their rooftop will be transformed into a futuristic Las Vegas for the summer season. Working under the name 'Lost Vegas', visitors will find themselves in the year 2030, at a time where nature has reclaimed much of Las Vegas following an uprising by a group of eco-warriors. Think vine-covered signs, oil-drum tables and a busted-up school bus repurposed as a bar.
Alongside the usual Rooftop Cinema Club series, the venue will also be hosting a number of talks on sustainability and the environment to stay in keeping with its eco-minded theme. Other quirks of the pop up will include vending machines doling out boozy ice-lollies, vegan hot dogs and the obligatory Las Vegas ephemera - slot machines, Little Vegas Wedding Chapel and, of course, Elvis.
Lost Vegas will be open from May until October 2018. at the Queen of Hoxton, 1 Curtain Road, EC2A 3JX
