Maggie's Rock N Rodeo

Discounts available on certain events

For some of the most unique events in the city, head to Maggie's in Merchant City. This quirky spot is inspired by the dive bars of Nashville, with an all-American menu of food and cocktails, as well as a mechanical rodeo bull.

They host a cowboy-themed ceilidh every Friday and Saturday for just £8.50 per person, complete with live country music, or head to the saucier, late-night cowboy strip show instead. You'll also find Hoedown karaoke here on Sundays, alongside line dancing lessons each Tuesday.

Moskito Cocktail Bar & Restaurant

Located on Bath Street, Moskito Cocktail Bar & Restaurant is a stylish venue filled with stunning artwork, floral displays and low lighting to create a sultry, intimate vibe. They're hosting a number of brilliant brunch events this month, themed around everything from Mamma Mia to Grease.

You'll get to enjoy two themed cocktails and a tasty brunch dish for as little as £35, and some of their events even double as a quiz so you won't be short of entertainment here either.

The Corset Club

Nestled inside Glasgow's historic Jacobean Corsetry building, The Corset Club is a lively bar that celebrates diversity, acting as a hotspot for the LGBTQ+ community.

They host fantastic drag shows on a regular basis, with tickets to their events starting from as little as £5 per person, as well as live music performances every Saturday and symphonic serenades from talented queen Sally on Tuesdays. And if you head there on Monday, they showcase debut acts from Glasgow and beyond, from mesmerising cabaret to amazing singers.

ARTÀ

For a slinky slice of the Mediterranean in Merchant City, shimmy on over to ARTA. While a top spot for drinking and dining, it also hosts a mega lineup of events, including laugh-out-loud comedy nights and hilarious drag shows, paired with tapas and sangria.

Sloans

In a building that dates back to 1797, Sloans is a pretty stunning space to attend some fantastic events - spread across three floors and drenched in tradition. Their EatFilm sessions take place on a regular basis, showing a classic movie while you munch on popcorn and a tasty main course - costing just £20 which includes a drink. They also host a Friday night ceilidh every single week, compete with a live band, alongside Sunday roast comedy afternoons and even the Scottish macaroni appreciation club.
