From the duo behind the much-loved North Star café, comes a new Italian restaurant in the heart of the West End. Founders Maurizio and Ester Rossini have launched the eponymous Rossini as a haven dedicated to Italy; from the wine, to the authentic dishes. For starters, think arancini and bruschetta; while lasagna, risotto and calamaro ripieno feature as main meals. If you manage to make it through secondi and contorni, then there's delicious dolci in the form of pistachio panna cotta, gelati and of course, tirimisu. You can even take advantage of a lunch and early evening menu, where you can try two or three dishes at discounted prices. So sit back and take a seat in the bright and airy dining room, as natural light floods in through large windows and jazz music fills the space.
