While we're very sad to see A’Challtainn go, its boozy heir looks set to be just as exciting. Taking over the plot formerly held by the iconic seafood spot, The Calton Taproom is bringing local brews and delicious BBQ food to the heart of the BAaD complex. 

Boasting some 20 different taps, the bar and beer garden will be eschewing commercial brewers in favour of local talent, pouring out some of the country's finest ales for you to sip on come sunny days. On top of that, they'll have over 100 different beers in the fridges for those looking to explore more, and a team of excellent mixologists ready to work some cocktail magic. 

You won't be going hungry at The Calton Taproom either as they bring in some of the best BBQ bites in the city. The perfect pairing for a cold pint, the food here will be nothing but moreish, hearty plates of grilled, fired, slow-cooked and rotisserie meats as well as fresh-caught fish and locally-sourced veg.
