Californian Cool Is Landing In The Heart of Glasgow

So L.A.

They've already blessed the city with some of its best restaurants and now group Rusk & Rusk are turning their attention to America's west coast. Unlike their steak-heavy offerings at Hutchesons City Grill and The Butchershop Bar and Grill, the organisation are inspired by California's surf culture and international cuisine with the new Mitchell Street opening.

So L.A. will be bringing a bit of starry sparkle to the former site of Chop Chop with a bar, restaurant and private hire space, the latter which bills itself as a subterranean urban garden. When it comes to food, the menu is packed with seafood along with quirky options such as Szechuan duck doughnuts, chilled avocado soup, and cured salmon and smoked eel. Drinks are divided by cocktails, which feature on a tequila map, and wines from the Californian-heavy choices in the cellar.
