Asian Dishes And Weekend Brunch Have Taken Over Bar Gumbo

Inspired by flavours from Australasia and the Pacific, Embargo has taken over the space once occupied by soul food purveyors Bar Gumbo. Instead of jambalaya and mac and cheese, you'll be treated to a selection of Asian dishes, from Thailand to China and beyond. The space is charming; with soft lighting, bare-brick walls and cosy seating. If that's not enough, then the snug garden is perfect for those balmy days.

The menu leans towards dishes like tempura prawn and crispy suckling pig, alongside Korean BBQ ramen and popcorn peanut butter cheesecake. You'll find deals throughout the week, with brunch offerings come the weekend. Wash it all down with craft beers, brews from Glasgow's own Drygate brewery and soak up the extensive collection of wines and classic cocktails; from breakfast martinis to French 75s.
