The MOBO Awards Come To Glasgow

The MOBO Awards are coming to town this weekend and bringing with them a truckload of A-list stars. Rocking the red carpet at the Hydro this Saturday night (19th October) will be the likes of Tinie Tempah, Craig David, Katy B, Rudimental, So Solid Crew, Wiley, Naughty Boy, Iggy Azelea, Laura Mvula - and a host of others.

The MOBO Awards (Music of Black Origin) are turning 18 this year, and to celebrate, they're back in Glasgow for a third time. Hosted by Sarah Jane Crawford and Trevor Nelson, it's going to be one epic show in the stunning new arena, with some incredible live performances.

Tinie Tempah will be one of the acts performing at this year's MOBO Awards in Glasgow.

But of course, while we love seeing the stars do their think on stage, we're more interested in getting up close and personal at the after parties. Two of Glasgow's most glamourous clubs have announced post-show parties so far, Cirque and Sugar Cube.

Cirque's VIP After-Party will be brought to you by this year's MOBO main man Trevor Nelson, along with sets from CJ Beatz and DJ Charlsey, with big names like these on the decks, you expect even bigger ones on the dancefloor. Over at Sugar Cube's MOBO bash, they're kicking things off with a DJ showcase hosted by top-selling DJ, Colin Francis - if you recall Tinie Tempah held his Bellahouston Park afterparty here a few months, so maybe he'll be back in for more?

Stooshie, getting hyped up for the Mobo Awards at the brand spanking new Hydro arena.

Either way as two of Glasgow's most exclusive clubs, both with lavish VIP lounges, awesome tunes, and stylish crowds, we reckon whichever after-party you choose, you're going to be rubbing some serious a-list shoulder. Now all we have to decide is what to wear, Stooshie glam or suited and booted Tinie style? Decisions, decisions.
