The countdown is on to Glasgow's mass exodus north for RockNess 2013. The top Scottish festival takes place on June 7-9 this year, and yet again, the line-up doesn't disappoint. Packed with top names in comedy and music, this years' festival will be graced with the likes of Basement Jaxx, Example, Plan B, Madness, and Ellie Goulding, along with this year's special guest and RockNess fan himself, Fatboy Slim. 

RockNess 2012 won the Best Large Festival award at the Scottish Events Award. 

With a line up that leans heavy on electronic music (there's also Booka Shade, Madeon and Above & Beyond) it's a sure thing that Glasgow's own Sub Club are back again this year, bringing with them a tent-load of hot DJing talent. The Sub Club Soundsystem stage will pump out tunes from Scotland and beyond on both Friday and Saturday nights of the festival. The top Glasgow club will show the calibre of acts it pulls in, with Julio Bashmore, Kerri Chandler, and Carl Craig topping the bill.

Along with big name guests, Sub Club's own house DJs will draw a crowd of their own with Harry and Dominic of SubCulture fame and Sensu residents spinning on Saturday night, and I Am's Beta & Kappa on Friday, alongside top Glasgow act, Jackmaster. Meanwhile the Soma Arena, also a raver fave at RockNess, will boast talent from Sub Club's monthly Return To Mono club night.

So, are you escaping the city and making a break for it to join Nessy and some 35,000 other festival folk at RockNess? Will you be raving with glowsticks at the Sub Club Soundsystem, or flaked out in a field listening to Ellie Goulding. We might have to opt for a bit of both...Wellies at the ready now.
