Glasgow is packed full of pubs, but it's always exciting when an enticing new venue hits the scene. Opened just this February, The Noble in the city centre is already making waves as one of Glasgow’s most stylish new spots. Combining the friendliness of a traditional boozer with the charm of an elegant wine bar, this is a slightly more upmarket pub that promises a refined experience, and we were excited to try it out.

This chic drinking destination is much more than your usual pub.
DesignMyNight’s Review Of The Noble Glasgow
Walk in to this place and you’re hit with a lively, upbeat vibe, chic décor, upbeat music, and a buzz that makes you feel instantly part of something special. Right in the middle of it all is a huge, oval-shaped bar that feels straight out of a movie set, the perfect centrepiece for cocktails, conversation, and a little bit of showmanship.
We went for small plates, because why choose when you can try everything? This was a smart move. The chorizo croquettes (£12) with garlic aioli were crispy, indulgent, and dangerously moreish. The Buffalo chicken tenders (£10) came with celery and blue cheese mayo, a perfectly classic combo, while the salt and chilli chicken fat hashbrowns (£7.50) with curry mayo were a surprising punch of flavour in every bite.

The Noble menu is full of delicious small plates.
An iconic small plate, the Noble nachos (£9) featured layers of chilli & lime corn chips, beef chilli, guacamole, cheese sauce, salsa, sour cream and jalapeños - basically a party on a plate. Lastly, the golden, crisp Koffman fries (£6) rounded things off beautifully.
Drinks are
equally fun. You can’t go wrong with classics like
a Veuve Clicquot Yellow
Label (£15) if
you’re
feeling fancy, or
the Aperol
spritz (£11)
for something light
and bubbly. The
bramble
(£11) is fruitier, richer, and just the
right level of indulgent, perfect for grazing on small
plates while soaking up the atmosphere. And to finish, we decided on an
espresso martini (£12), because well, why
not?

Now for the fun bit. During our visit, Spider-Man: Brand New Day was filming outside, featuring Tom Holland and Zendaya, so naturally we indulged in a little movie star spotting while we ate. Inside, a digital train departure screen adds a quirky modern twist - a reminder that the world outside the Noble is still ticking while you’re happily tucked away inside.
Overall: The Noble Public House
The Noble is a confident, playful mix of style, flavour and fun. From the huge, cinematic oval bar to small plates you’ll want to dive into, to cocktails and Champagne that hit just the right notes, it’s a place that works for everything from a casual hangout to a proper night out. And let’s be honest, spotting a movie star while munching on chorizo croquettes? That’s just icing on the cake.
