Fourth Time's a Charm for Street Food Cartel

Best Pop Up 2014 - DesignMyNight Awards

Just as we were getting peckish, Street Food Cartel is back to feed the masses with awesome, delicious, and pretty dang cheap, street food fare. The fourth installment of the warehouse pop-up takes place from 15th-17th November at SWG3, and is set to be bigger and tastier than ever.

The Street Food Cartel has become known for its friendly crowds and fun atmosphere.

For those of you not versed in the foodie wonderland that is Street Food Cartel, this collaborative pop up restaurant concept was spawned as an antidote to Glasgow's strict food truck laws, and its monster appetite for street food. Earlier this year, a bunch of vendors, with mobile caterers, Scoop, leading the way, got together to form the cartel; fun pop events, with drinks, DJs and awesome eats. And since then, food fans have been flocking to the West End warehouse to sample the wares.

Young (and not so young) professionals and students flock to SWG3 for cool vibes and great eats.

Joining Scoop at the November Cartel will be So La Ti Dough (say it out loud) making their SWG3 debut. Hauling in their traditional wood burning stove, their oven fresh dough, baked to perfection, will blow the socks off pizza buffs in Glasgow.

Scoop will be be back of course, churning out food from their retro kitchen on wheels, The Bullet. This time around, they're promising an offering "influenced by the big, bold flavours of the global street food revolution." We can't freaking wait.

Street Food Cartel's offerings are an always-delicious offering of innovative food truck fare.

As well as blinding grub, there'll also be a flow of sweet tunes throughout the weekend, with DJs pumping out a smooth blend of retro grooves. And at the bar, craft beers and selected spirits will keep punters watered.

Street Food Cartel will kick off on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th November from 6pm until 10pm for eats, and on Sunday 17th, the ovens will fire up from 1pm until 6pm. One of the coolest events in Glasgow, tickets for Street Food Cartel cost just £5 and include a welcome drink.

Whether you've a penchant for pizza, a love of lamb or a fondness for fish - heck, even if you just want to be down with the cool kids - haul your tush, and your tum, to November's Street Food Cartel and you're in for a (tasty) treat.
