Trendy is something of an untrendy word. The minute you use it to describe something, it ceases to be cool. So we're (almost) loathe to brand some of our favourite bars in Glasgow with this word, but we can't help but acknowledge that they are not only incredibly popular, and rather cool, but they are some of the most talked about and blogged about bars in the city, they are in keeping with decor, food and drink trends, and well, they are, shock horror, pretty dang trendy. It used to be Scotland's best kept secret but Brewdog has taken over the UK with their trendy formula of craft beer and cool venues. Head to one of the originals in Glasgow to soak up a fun atmosphere with some of the best beer in the business.

Nice 'n' Sleazy is a Glasgow classic that never goes out of fashion. Despite not being quite as new or quite as shiny as other bars on the list, it still manages to hit a lot of the trendy bar buttons. Incredible meaty offerings, check, the ever-popular White Russians, check and check, cool bands, quirky club nights, and the adoration of some of Glasgow's most discerning bar crawlers, check, check and check again. Yes, Nice 'n' Sleazy is most definitely got the goods to be one of the trendiest bars in Glasgow.
It may be pretty low key but that doesn't stop it being damn trendy, Buck's Bar is all about live music, cocktails and American-style dishes. Head over the weekend for some brilliant local music and far too drinkable cocktails.
In a former Victorian ice cream parlour, Kelvingrove Cafe has been transformed into a trendy Glasgow bar that serves some seriously delicious cocktails.
