One of the Ashton Lane's original night spots, Vodka Wodka has seen a fair share of parties in its time in Glasgow's West End. Claiming its title as one of the city's "first cocktail bars", it continues to serve up an imaginative array of signature concoctions as well as an impressive list of over 70 vodkas and rums from around the world - plus a few local whiskeys, we're still in Scotland after all. There's beer on tap too if you don't think your liver can take the heat.
While the fruity drinks are a definite draw for students, Vodka Wodka says everyone is welcome to this friendly, chilled out venue. Its whimsical, chummy feel makes Vodka Wodka a lot less pretentious than other Glasgow cocktail bars. While the drinks menu is a lot longer than the one for food, if it is soakage you're after, a selection of Italian fare is on offer from the afternoon to the early evening. The infamous beer garden is home to an even more infamous BBQ come summertime too. Vodka Wodka pitches itself as a laid back bar, but they're not afraid to turn up the tunes if they feel a party brewing. Vodka Wodka may be a bit of an oldie, but it's still a bit of a goody.
