What they say:

Glasgow’s musical reputation has attracted bands of all kinds into the city, but for some reason not that much jazz. Well, that’s all changed with the introduction of The Blue Arrow, one of the first dedicated jazz bars to come to the city - and it’s exactly as moody as you want it to be. Hidden beneath Sauchiehall Street, this basement bar has cabaret tables with chequered cloths, exposed brickwork illuminated by red theatre lights, and a stage at the far end.

What we say:

Live music fans are in for a treat here as they play host to bands every night from Thursday to Saturday. Jazz is more than just one type of music, though, so expect an eclectic playlist, playing everything from straight-forward jazz to avant-garde and experimental sessions.
