Conjured up by boozy brains Jim Ballantyne and Ryan Barrie, The Spiritualist is a brand new bar in Merchant City that holds over 320 bottles of prime spirits to its name. From rare pieces and lush liqueurs, to a welcoming and classic dining menu , this unique new bar has converted the old Stirling Library into a decadent homage to clean lines, contemporary shapes, plush materials and golden charm.
What we say:
I'd consider myself a spiritual person, but this may be out of my spiritual league; 300 odd bottles out of my spirit-ual league. Said to boast the biggest collection of bottles in the city, with over 320 rare spirits, prized tipples and liqueurs gracing the back bar, The Spiritualist is more than giving Glasgow options when it comes to a quick snaffle out. Clearly decadent, and sitting pretty in a converted library no less, giving Glasgow 'a night out that they can treasure' is a big feat for a new bar, but with 300 bottles behind them, they've got a good place to start.
