Noto is a gorgeous restaurant in the heart of New Town, serving up innovative dishes in a contemporary setting. Created by the award-winning chef behind foodie favourite Aizle, the Thistle Street eatery is proving to be every bit as delicious as its sister spot.
Looking to be an international affair, the menu is inspired by head chef Stuart Ralston’s time in New York (where he worked with Gordon Ramsay) and has a focus on Asian cuisine with local Scottish produce at its heart.
Alongside daily specials and a weekend brunch menu, there are also staple picks, including a fried buttermilk chicken katsu sandwich with kimchi, and a mouth-watering braised ox cheek served with bone marrow and pickled shiitake. Desserts are available for those with a sweet tooth, as well as a selection of bespoke cocktails served from the bar.
In other words, this is Noto going to be one to miss.
