What happens when you combine one of London’s favourite steak joints with the world-class produce of Scotland? Hawksmoor in Edinburgh, hopefully. This super-steak restaurant is what’s being promised from the London brand, setting up shop in the city after opening six venues in the capital and one in Manchester. And they aren’t arriving quietly: the restaurant will sit in the art deco-styled former Royal Bank of Scotland Hall, to serve up to 170 covers.
