From the team behind some of Cardiff's best club nights, including Gwdihw and Clwb Ifor Bach, comes Motel Nights: a café, bar and events space.

By day, the community-focused Canton hangout will be a co-working hotspot, serving up coffees and food to keep you going from breakfast through to dinner. However, as evening falls, things will get taken up a notch as the bar starts pouring up cocktails and craft beers. They'll also be putting on regular events, such as acoustic gigs, quizzes, comedy nights and weekend DJ sets. As for food, expect a range of mouthwatering street eats from various kitchen residencies to keep you fuelled up. The first to take over the stoves, Matsudai Ramen, will be creating their signature meaty, veggie and vegan noodle soups.

Having recently set up a Crowdfunding page, Motel Nights is already well on its way to raising the final £5,000 needed for equipment, furnishings and - the créme de la créme - a disco ball bathroom.
