What they say:
If you haven't heard of The Ivy, where have you been hiding? With more than 100 years of history, several outposts and a celebrity fan base, the restaurant is one of London's most iconic brands and now the group have announced a new opening, this time in Brighton's The Lanes. Expect big things from the new Brighton opening - quite literally - as the space spans more than 6,000 sq.ft with features including an onyx bar, artwork from local artists and marble floor tiles.
What we say:
From posh brunch to a dinner that involves brioche crumbed chicken Milanese with rocket, it's no surprise that The Ivy has remained so popular over 100 years. The group has since been brought by Caprice Holdings, the same group behind outrageous Sexy Fish, and which put a timeless spin on their restaurant interiors. The new Ship Street venue will open this spring, bringing their famous cocktails, brunches and possible even a few celebrity fans with them.
