Setting up pizza shop next to the Eight Foor Grocer in the Jewellery Quarter, Otto comes at Birmingham with a hardy dose of handmade pizzas courtesy of their custom built oven. Keeping to an intimate 8-strong pizza menu alongside craft brews, Otto emphasise quality over quantity an a charming, JQ space.
What we say:
Independent restaurants, god knows we love 'em, and none more so than those that support local producers and promise hand-made fare all the same. While the 8-pizza-strong menu may bemuse those that want a little more choice for their money, there's something to be said for a menu that really hones in on particular items, and it looks like Otto are set to be clear and conscious from the off.
