Birmingham Drag & Burlesque Festival presents:
Masc Up, Mask Off, Makeup Workshops! with Tristan
Treble
Have you ever wanted to do drag king makeup but had
no idea where to start? Or maybe you’re an already established drag
king who just wants a little extra creative push? Well, with
Tristan Treble’s Masc up, Mask Off, Makeup workshop, it’s time to
pick up those brushes and get painting once and for all! Whilst
this workshop is aimed at people of all experience levels, Tristan
will be covering a whole host of topics; starting with the bare
necessities and building up to the importance and impact of
contouring and colour under stage lights. Of course no makeup
workshop would be complete without letting you have a go yourself,
so let’s end this workshop by making a man out of you!
Please note: in this workshop, Tristan will encourage any attendees
to ask questions and to be curious. With makeup, much like many
things, the best way to learn is to practice, ask questions and
GIVE IT A GO! There is no right or wrong way of doing this, just
come along, let that mask down and get well and truly Masc’d
up!
