Description
Central, homely and unique are but a few ways to describe the eye-catching Old Joint Stock Pub and Theatre. The venue regularly hosts, Christmas parties, wedding receptions, celebrations and corporate events in their city centre pub, just a short walk from Snow Hill station and New Street Station.
Born originally as a library in 1862 then later a bank, this decadent and richly decorated Victorian pub sits comfortably opposite St Philips Cathedral in one of Birmingham's most charming squares. Designed by local architect Julius Alfred Chatwin, this cosy Birmingham pub makes for an interesting talking point on any date night thanks to its homely balcony overlooking the pub's central island bar. From its central glass dome to classic features, The Old Joint Stock has retained true period charm. Serving classic British dishes and traditional house ales.
The venue also boasts four private spaces accommodating groups of 2-100. Whether it's an intimate private party, extravagant bash, wedding reception or corporate do, these versatile event spaces can be adapted to host any occasion.
