Birmingham Drag and Burlesque Festival are collaborating with Birmingham Life Drawing! 

Alternative life drawing is a brand new twist on an old classic, working from drag performers and costumed models instead of a traditional nude setup. A fun, visually rich evening of drawing focused on character, costume, expression, and performance.

Bring your materials and get creative! We can't wait to see you there. 

Eden Bar is wheelchair accessible with a lift. The session will be held in The Hub space.

Produced by ‘Birmingham’s Queen of Burlesque’, Dominus Von Vexo, founder of House of Allure. The festival will be a sparkling, scintillating, steamy cocktail of shows and workshops in the bull’s eye of the city. Sizzling showgirls, daring drag, comedic clowning, bawdy burlesque is but a tease of what is to come; across various venues that contribute and define the creative heartbeat of the city. In the words of Brummie legend, Julie Walters, “Stage is the most exciting!” and we cannot wait to bring you that thrill. Join us, for what will be a beautiful and unforgettable celebration of authenticity, diversity and joy, adding to the rich legacy of our city! We invite you to be a part of that history!

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.

7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.

    I have been going to classes for over 3 years now and i absolutely love them. I love learning the routines and learning more about burlesque but the best part of the classes is the people. Dominis who leads each class is so inspiring, talented, kind and supportive. They make each class so much fun and everyone that attends always has a laugh. I leave every week so happy and excited for the following week. Going to these classes has truly changed my life. I would 100% recommend

    I absolutely love my burlesque classes! I was a little nervous about stepping outside my comfort zone at first, but I’m so glad I did. It’s such a fun, friendly and supportive environment and I always come away feeling more confident and with a huge smile on my face. It’s become something I genuinely look forward to – a chance to switch off, have a laugh, feel fabulous and just enjoy being me for an hour. 💃✨ I’d recommend it to anyone who’s tempted to give it a go!
