The Old Crown

The Old Crown is a charming boozer in Digbeth that's promising a wide range of events for Oktoberfest this year. Their Elton John tribute night promises dazzling costumes and fantastic live performances, courtesy of the talented Andy Crossbie.

There'll be authentic German food and drink on offer while you're singing along. What's more, they're also hosting live bands Rats In The Kitchen and Jewels Party Band across their three dates of celebration.

Albert's Schloss - Birmingham

Albert's Schloss is a bit of a no-brainer for Oktoberfest festivities. From sausage-eating contests to keg tapping and dancing, this is one party you won't want to miss. For free live music on Saturday, hit up its Pleasure Palace evening and enjoy the sweet sounds of a live brass band, or delight in spectacular performances with Kunst Kabaret. And for a truly raucous time, before the weekend comes around, it's got to be the Friday Frölich.
