Diners in Belfast will soon be able to tuck into mouthwatering Bangladeshi cuisine from the comfort of their very own pods. Lining the exterior of 7Spice in St. Anne’s Square, the private dining spaces are made from Perspex and wood, and offer guests the chance to dine in a bubble (literally) while staying socially distanced.

As for the food? The restaurant serves authentic plates from Bangladesh with a focus on seasonal ingredients. Signature dishes include kofta khazani, a combination of spiced minced chicken, prawn and lamb cooked with tomatoes, handi biryani with buttery slow-roasted lamb and chicken salie, a famous Persian wedding dish. If you're in the mood for a classic, check out the chef’s specials which include jalfrezi, rogan josh and chilli masala.

7Spice's relaxed dining experience isn’t exclusive to the pods though, as the restaurant has seen a total refurbishment indoors making enough space for up to 40 diners. While they aren't open yet, the restaurant is still delivering its food in tiffin boxes which come ready to be reheated.
