Calling all aspiring detectives and lovers of a good whisky! Get ready for a night of intrigue and suspense at the stunning Annandale Distillery. Forget your usual Friday night in, because this is an experience you won't want to miss.

Here's the lowdown:

Imagine this: you're enjoying a delicious three-course meal in a beautiful setting. Suddenly, a crime is committed! It's up to you and your fellow guests to unravel the mystery and unmask the culprit.

The Case:

"The Spies the Limit" – James Blonde, Britain's top secret agent, is dead...or is he? When the head of MI6 turns up dead in Blonde's coffin, things take a decidedly deadly turn. With a room full of suspects, each with their own secrets and motives, can you separate the shaken from the stirred and crack the case?

The Menu:

Fuel your detective work with a mouth-watering three-course meal prepared by The Maltings Coffee Shop:

Starter: Choose between a tantalising Chorizo, Brie and Apple Tart or a Cranberry Brie and Walnut Tart, both served with a fresh rocket salad and balsamic glaze.

Main: Indulge in Chicken Breast stuffed with Haggis or a delicious vegetarian alternative wrapped in Streaky Bacon, served with all the trimmings and a Whisky Peppercorn Sauce.

Dessert: Finish with a classic Sticky Toffee Pudding, complete with Butterscotch Sauce and Ice Cream.

    Our tour was led by Emma who was knowledgeable, friendly and informative in equal measure. All the other distillery staff we encountered were also great, and the overall level of access allowed us to see and smell every stage of the process. The distillery itself, having been recently renovated, has a very good restaurant attached which I can also recommend. I should also mention that the range of whisky available to try is substantial and also tasty, I only bought two bottles but could have easily bought more!

    Amazing. The guide was knowledgeable and our tour was a real journey into past. Also, I got good advice when I have decided to buy my favourite drink at the end of the tour.
