The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight WFL Media Ltd and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations.     When I saw that Annandale were hosting this event it was a no brainer for me to visit, and they didn't let anyone down. From the get go they appeared to have everything organised from collecting people from the local train station to a lovely welcome cocktail. As is always the case when visiting this distillery everyone is so friendly and helpful, it's like a family meet up. So after a brief welcome and introduction to the team, we were split into smaller groups so we could undertake the afternoons activities. These included a more in depth distillery tour and a new make spirit tasting in the bonded warehouse. A few lovely drams were also taken one directly from the cask with an explanation of how the different casks can effect the taste of the golden elixir. A very interesting talk about how the distillery decide when the whisky is ready to bottle with a nice couple of drams to help you compare. A sheet to help you describe the flavours that your nose and palate are enjoying is also a helpful addition. A real nice insight into how this process takes place. Finally there was a trip to the Annandale amphitheatre for a coopering experience with a cask expert bought in from Ireland. There was plenty of chance for visitor interaction through all parts of the afternoon. Once all the activities were done it was back to the Maltings Coffee shop for some food, drink and a good old chinwag about whisky. It turns out people had come from far and wide for this event which made for interesting conversations. Everybody I spoke to really enjoyed the day, and were hoping this becomes one of many similar events to be held in the future. A very big thank you to all of those at the distillery that worked so hard on the event. It was fantastic to get a peak behind the curtains. Thank you all for your time and enthusiasm and making it a fantastic day. I look forward to coming back for the next one.
