Recline your seat to classics like Grease and Back to the Future as well as some modern favourites such as A Star is Born and Joker. Luna Drive-In Cinema
Who wouldn’t want to watch a movie adjacent to Blenheim Palace? Or Warwick Castle? No one we know. Expect state of the art technology, backed up with a fantastic selection of food and drink (yes, it’s all contactless) as well as some of the best movies ever made at one of England's prettiest drive-thru cinemas. Luna also have showings in London and Hertfordshire, and serving anything from freshly-popped popcorn to oven-baked pizza... let’s just say you’ll have to eat our dust as we speed off to get parked up and ready to watch.
Coming to Chislehurst's Flamingo Park this July and August, Celestial Cinema is going to bring a mix of film, music and comedy to our ears from just £29.50 a vehicle. Expect a brand spanking new location as well as a socially-distanced viewing experience, complete with grub from London favourites KERB. Drawing inspiration from Miami Vice and LA Nights, this UK drive-in cinema is one we can't wait to hear more about.
From classics like Grease and Notting Hill to modern favourites including Call Me By Your Name, Carview-20 is the brand a new drive-in cinema that's providing the retro experience. Sit back and relax as FM transmitters broadcast straight to your radio and carhops deliver pre-ordered food and drinks on offer directly to your window. Expect full social-distancing in accordance with government guidelines.
This epic entertainment spectacle is going beyond the classic pop-up cinema experience. Taking place in London this summer, The Drive-In Club will host stand-up comedy shows from some of the UK's most famous comedians, family specials with the likes of Dick and Dom, live music performances and blockbuster screenings. Plus, you can enjoy it all from the comfort of your own car... who said adhering to government guidelines couldn't be fun?
Not only is this one of the UK’s best drive-in cinemas, but also the world’s only indoor drive-in cinema. Cinestock hasn’t yet announced its film line-up for this year but if it’s anything like their West Sussex-based venture from 2019, a good show is in order. Cinestock aren’t just stopping at movie screenings, no no, they’re also putting on the first drive-in cinema comedy festival, Comedy in Cars, featuring a wide host of leading UK comedians. The dates are still to be confirmed, so keep an eye glued to their website for updates.

The Drive In sets the bar high with Dirty Dancing and doesn’t lose any momentum with a line-up featuring Mamma Mia!, La La Land, Bridesmaids and more. Pretty Woman? Moulin Rouge? The Rocky Horror Picture Show? Where do we sign up? Nightflix not only serves as the answer to the question: ‘Where can I get my fill of campy and cult classics?’, but also as the answer to: ‘Where is our new favourite drive-in cinema?’. With locations in both Colchester and Newark, Nightflix has a huge range of movies to choose and peruse as well as playing host to innovative drive-in festival experiences.
If lockdown blues have been bombarding you, Adventure Cinema are hosting a real adventure of a night for you. A UK drive-in cinema built for any musical-theatre fan, expect sing-a-long renditions of classics like Grease and The Greatest Showman as well as regular showings of Bohemian Rhapsody and The Lion King. Although you may not be encouraged to sing your heart out to all of their screenings, we know you’ll want to - let's hope your vehicle is well soundproofed.
