The Down for the Count Swing Orchestra are a mini big band who perform dance music from the swing and jive eras. The 10-piece band performs a unique blend of big band swing classics from greats such as Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Glenn Miller, alongside jive hits from Louis Jordan and Louis Prima and more modern swing tunes.
With a tight rhythm section, fabulous four-piece horn section and two stunning female vocalists, the DFTC Swing Orchestra deliver a big band sound that is both authentic and unique.
