1. Kelu Sky Lounge
Taking the place of INC Sheffield as our favourite Krynkl rooftop bar, Kelu is the sister of Italian restaurant Domo and similarly inspired by Sardinia. Whether you venture here to have cocktails and aperitivo, try new wine or munch through antipasti, you'll be doing it in a venue boasting a retractable roof that's fringed with foliage. Who needs the Med?

3. Church - Temple of Fun
While not a rooftop per se, the waterside balcony at Church - Temple of Fun is still one of the best places to have drinks with a view in Sheffield. Suspended above the Don, this small but perfectly formed platform is the ultimate suntrap on a summer's day. It's got gorgeous plant life and river vistas, while the bar inside can sort you out with a range of enticing cocktails, local ales and mouthwatering vegan comfort grub.
