Located on Grey Street, All Bar One is a lively all-day venue, decked out in plush leather booths, pretty foliage and warm lighting. They've got a cracking range of cocktails on offer here, and you can even do a masterclass if you fancy whipping up your own.

These guys are also known for hosting a pretty fantastic bottomless brunch, complete with 90 minutes of drinks. As for the food menu, expect everything from beef brisket burgers to king prawn pad Thai and coconut butternut squash curry.

Banyan Newcastle

Situated on Westgate Road, close to Central Station, Be At One is a lively cocktail bar that's always knows how to have a good time. There are more than 100 different cocktails to choose from here, including frozen blends like the Berry Blitz, or twists on classics such as a lychee martini.

Open until 2am on weekends, you can dance the night away here as the talented bartenders put on a show mixing drinks. As for the interiors, expect cosy leather booths, neon signs and touches of gold throughout.
