Hot news on the Manchester bar scene is that legendary cocktail and late-night party spot The Liars Club are expanding their premises to make even more room for tiki-themed mayhem. The bar is owned by crowd favourite Black Dog Ballroom's Ross Mackenzie and Jobe Ferguson; the bar itself is steadied by self-styled 'Captain' Lyndon Higginson who was formerly the cocktail supremo at Northern Quarter watering hole Keko Moku.

The Liars Club Plans Expansion

The word on the street is that The Liars Club have applied for a license for the vacant plot above their basement haven (formerly those tax dodgers at Starbucks). With The Liars Club being a very small and intimate venue, especially during those late-night cocktail fests, the news of more party room is very much welcome to Manchester revelers. As speculation grows as to what the owners and the Captain have in store for this ex-coffee house, we urge you to stay posted with DesignMyNight to get all the latest gossip and hot news as soon as it breaks. But get excited Manchester, because The Liars Club is getting bigger and better!
