Are we heading for a thundering apocalypse or a glorious revolution? If you believe the headlines, it's one or the other. So which one will you choose? Are we better off with or without the EU?

A Brit throws a referendum-night party for her European friends. As their celebrations threaten to turn into goodbyes, awkward views are outed, nationalities ridiculed, and the workings of the Union are scrutinised. Is it really possible for these Europeans to work together without losing their independence?

International theatre company Rock Paper Scissors presents a funny, upbeat and thought provoking investigation of the European Union, tackling the complicated current issues it faces in a very everyday kind of way. Laugh, cry, vote and join our party. There will be balloons.

This was a thoroughly entertaining play. Rock Paper Scissors theatre (Bethany Greenwood, Susan Hoffman, Claire Tipy) managed to engage and inform the audience whilst clearly ad libbing through 'their European Tour'. Will be interesting to see what they come up with next. Chris visited The Bread & Roses Theatre on 20 Jun 2016
