Calling all Creatives!
What the F**k is Contemporary Dance, hosted by Artist Asylum associates Holly Rush & Leah Grant, is a pop-up creative space where you can explore movement and artistry.
We invite all people interested in engaging with movement performance, exchanging ideas, and spending a Friday night drinking tea and jamming.
There will be three performance sharings with short Q&As, plenty of tea breaks, an open music and dance jam (musicians bring your instruments, movers bring yourselves) as well as reflection on the theme of movement.
Ticket includes entry, small snack, unlimited tea and raffle entry- to win a 3 course vegan meal or a beginners dance class.
This is a little window into a small portion of the contemporary dance world, you will learn about the experimental process of making a dance piece, explore giving feedback and have the opportunity to really get creative.
