by Thomas Hardy - adapted & directed by Charmaine K Parkin

Four actors play multiple roles in what is an enigmatic and fast paced telling of virtue, love and injustice, but above all the impact of this on the human condition.

Bringing to life the Wessex of the past and honouring the beautiful countryside where the story takes place, whilst also highlighting the timeless issues that this story presents.

However, in true SISATA style there will still be fun, interaction and song to tie together this heart-breaking tale.

Audience feedback for previous production:

'Charmaine K Parkin’s direction stripped back the production, letting the theatre speak for itself...’ - Nick Taylor

'A brilliant play, enjoyed it so much, wanted to see a repeat there and then.' - Jill MorGan

‘The 4 cast members put on a wonderfully entertaining and interactive performance!’ - Samuel Chivers
