This intimate and autobiographical coming-of-age tale by spoken word artist and writer Paul Cree set in his bedsit amongst the books, tapes and comics of his youth. Reviews

“His storytelling was thoroughly engaging, layered with experience and iced with wit. I was hungry for more.” Broadway Baby

"He’s an engaging storyteller, confident and comfortable in his stage skin, delivering poetry punctuated by the unexpected rhymes of rap." Lindsey Clarke, Londonist

"Paul Cree has the ability to make you feel like it was you who discovered him, like he was speaking to only you when everyone else started clapping, bloody latecomers. An amazing storyteller, with turns-of-phrases to die for and an effortless rhyming flow." Joshua Idehen, Poejazzi
