Shirley Knot the Siren Cabaret

Ever wondered what happens to a siren when she ages? Well, Shirley is here to tell you she is not willing to be put out to sea just yet

Join in for a fun evening of songs, dancing and all things fishy. Shirley’s cabaret sails through many decades of life’s rubbish as a Siren on the rocks!

“What is remarkable is Shirley’s voice. Powerful, emotive and clear. From the first notes of the first song

Beth Watson

Hasbian: noun
a former lesbian who has “become” heterosexual or bisexual.

Hasbian is an autobiographical comedy about growing up in Brighton (the UK's gay capital) and being educated under Section 28 (the law which prohibited the teaching of homosexuality "as a pretended family relationship").

Shabaneh Razvand

”Wine For the Newly Dumped" is a one-woman clown/sketch/burlesque performance piece created by comedy writer and actor, Shabaneh Razvand. Ever gone through an awful break-up and tried to muster the courage to get yourself out there and back on the scene? Well... this one's for you!

Trees with Roots

Inspired by Malcolm X's journey to self-empowerment and my recent name change, X is a piece about identity. The stories we tell ourselves, the stories that have been told about us and the importance of reclaiming our own story. Through various artistic forms from spoken word to music to movement, X takes the audience on a journey to question their own identity. What is a name? What does it mean? What happens when that name is taken from you and you are given a new name?

In this extract, Gabriel, is lost and searching for answers when he is met by a mysterious force that guides him.

Beth Sitek

WITH MASS EXTINCTIONS, THE EARTH DYING AND MONKEYS RUNNING OUR COUNTRIES, THIS ONLY MEANS ONE THING; THE APOCALYPSE IS UPON US! WHAT BETTER TIME TO INTRODUCE THE KING OF THIS WORLD? ITS CEO PETER STOKES: THE KING OF CLIMATE BREAKDOWN.

Using David Attenborough narration, pop references and a full gorilla suit, this piece asks us to consider the implications of industrial climate ignorance, human evolution and just how different we are (or aren't) from our primate predecessors. Bow down and witness 2019's King of the Concrete Jungle.

I wish you a campy Christmas and a dragy New Year 🎄 I thoroughly enjoyed this fun, queer, chaotic sci-fi panto show from the costumes through the crazy storyline to the songs. If you a fan of the amazing Sink the Pink, want to find out how the Earth is going to look like in 2050 and who is the most dangerous enemy of humankind you have to go to the Pleasance theatre and watch Escape from Planet Trash
