Description
LIMBO is an insightful and moving one-man comedy play about love, loss and the afterlife.
After dying young in tragic circumstances, Kevin Potter finds himself in Limbo, a crumbling, underfunded halfway house between heaven and hell run by the National Death Service. Tutored by his mate George, Kevin becomes an apprentice ghost intent on returning home to haunt the love of his life.
Can Kevin settle things before they call his number? Or will the idiots who run Limbo mess up the paperwork and condemn him to a ghostly existence forever?
At turns comic and tragic, LIMBO tells the poignant story of one man’s quest for redemption against improbable odds.
Writer / performer Simon Carter has written comedy for BBC national and regional radio and hit plays for Manchester’s 24-7 Theatre Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe. He is director of Nottingham’s Plain and Simple Theatre Company which aims to engage, enthuse and entertain audiences with evocative and provocative stories told with heart, and soul, and smiles. This production of LIMBO was a hit show at Nottingham’s Font Fest in May 2015.
