Motion Picture Supper Club

The Motion Picture Supper Club is all about bringing the glamour and excitement back to a night at the movies. We do this by fusing live jazz with great food and amazing food in beautiful locations. Though our style is “1920s supper club” we’re not trying to recreate the 1920’s within an immersive cinema experience. Our aim is simply to upgrade the old “dinner and a movie” format by bringing all of the elements of the perfect night out – live music, candlelit dinners, great cocktails, amazing films and post-dinner revelry – under one roof.

Great venue and staff all friendly, only problem was the food took ages between courses and girlfriends steak was cold and tough. Cocktails where very good and tasty although a bit small.

The staff were great, unfortunately due to being delayed we missed the band and as there was little- no atmosphere after that, so we had to make the decision to go elsewhere.

Great concept... Great venue... Great staff... Great jazz band... Food was good (but I didn't think much of the vegetarian option!)... The night would have been even better if more people had gotten up and danced...

Attended for a friends birthday drinks on Saturday 23rd. Great bar staff, had a good laugh with them. The band were nothing short of phenomenal, several multi instrumentalists with fantastic voice too; only complaint there is that the crowd simply weren't interested in the music which was a shame. The venue itself is quite nice although it does get a tad warm downstairs. Honourable mention to the blokes at the door, one of whom is a former royal Marine for having a chat with us as we were leaving quite inebriated. He seemed like a pretty cool bloke.

The venue & arrival cocktails were great. The band, brilliant but after film, they should have got more upbeat. The food was average, for the price, I would expect better food.
