T Cribb & Sons are one of the oldest and most important independent funeral directors in London. A family business established in the East End in 1881, they have over 130 years caring for the city’s dead and bereaved.

They are the only funeral directors in the the UK that have their own stable, horses, coachmen, grooms snd vehicles. They even grow their own hay

Director John Harris, he great grandson of Thomas Cribb the founder, joins us to tell his family story, about a life lived working with London's dead and about the unique services he offers including repatriation of the deceased to and from anywhere in the world, with all the complex travel, logistical legal and cultural requirements involved. He is also an expert in exhumation which involves the delicate removal of human remains from their resting place,

A notable case involving exhumation and repatriation is that of Yagan, an Aboriginal warrior from Western Australia. After Yagan was killed in 1833, his head was taken to the UK as a war trophy and buried in a Liverpool cemetery. Following complex negotiations, Yagan's remains were exhumed and repatriated to Australia in 1997. This case underscores the cultural and emotional significance of exhumation and repatriation services.

Join us for an insightful talk on these critical and often overlooked services of the funeral industry. John Harris and his team combine expertise in funerary practices, archaeology, and engineering, to ensure that each project is handled with the highest level of professionalism and respect. They work in key areas such as cemetery clearances, crypt excavations and restorations, coffin disposal, and the re-interment or repatriation of human remains. John will talk about cases he has worked on and how he ensures respectful handling of all remains.

Awful. Psychic Stevie failed to contact anyone. Which is probably why he cut the show short. It was the hammiest performance I’ve seen. It was like a comedy sketch. Waste of time. Although the setting was beautiful and atmospheric.

Hunt is really good. So fascinating and engaging. I look forward to seeing him again too. So spooky because he has spoken to so many school shooters and his research tells me it can happen anytime.
