Join us at Number Sixteen for a special tea and talk where the enchanting world of Beatrix Potter and her characters including Peter Rabbit will be explored. Taking place in the hotel's light-filled Orangery, tea will be served followed by a 20 minute talk and visual presentation from Helen Antrobus - Co-curator of The V&A Museum's renowned Beatrix Potter: Drawn to Nature exhibition.
Following the talk, enjoy our 'Back to Nature' Afternoon Tea with a choice of inspired menus for the whole family. Guests will receive a Beatrix Potter: Drawn to Nature book to take home and tickets to visit any V&A exhibition of your choice.

ABOUT THE CURATOR
Helen Antrobus is Assistant National Curator specialising in Cultural Landscapes at the National Trust, and co-curator of Beatrix Potter: Drawn to Nature. She was Curator of the National Trust’s National Public Programmes, including People’s Landscapes (2019), and previously curated Represent! Voices 100 Years On at the People’s History Museum (2018).
As a public historian she has appeared on programmes such as the One Show, Who Do You Think You Are, Edwardian Britain in Colour, Thirties Britain in Colour, Victorian Britain in Colour,

BEATRIX POTTER AT THE V&A MUSEUM
Celebrating the life and work of one of the best loved children's authors of the 20th century. This family friendly exhibition takes visitors on a journey to discover Potter's life as a scientist and conservationist and explores the places and animals that inspired her most beloved characters. 4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
