This year we kick off our summer season with the one and only brass roots, who exploded onto the London live music scene 7 years ago. Brassroots has since set stages ablaze from Ronnie Scotts to Glastonbury where 40,000 people gyrated to one of their typically energetic sets. In addition to playing and producing there own music Brassroots has also recorded and/or performed with an impressive roster of international chart topping artists including Rudimental, Coolio, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Stylo G, Ella Eyre, John Newman, Duke Dumont, Beggar & Co. and countless others.
Having independently released (and sold out of) their self-titled debut EP, Brassroots received global radio play from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Rob Da Bank & the USA’s legendary Jeremy Sole on KCRW. The band’s cover of Inner City’s ‘Good Life’ alone has racked up well over 1500 chart appearances thus far.
The band’s current lineup has taken the signature Brassroots’ sound to a whole new level recently incorporating cleverly and subtly adapted electronic elements using effects pedals and various frequency manipulation techniques. The group has also begun to include vocals in their original music. Brassroots is consistently billed amongst the cream of the crop in the U.K.’s music scene and considered amongst the best of international brass bands and we are truly excited to have them perform at Solomons' yard.
Alongside Brass Roots we have two of our heavy hitting resident DJ's. Russ Jay is the son of the legendary Sir Norman Jay and has been rocking dance floors just like his father for most of his Life. Russ is reknowned for his West London sound as well as his releases on various dance music labels and his signature shufflers sound always gets the party started. Melvo Baptiste Is also a regular on the scene playing multiple sets across London every weekend. His Mi-Soul radio show is now one of Londons most listened to shows and has seen him gain rare reviews from not only the radio community but also his peers which has drawn comparisons to everyone from Giles Peterson to MR Jam. Once again we are delighted to have them both on board and look forward to many amazing nights with them on the cobbles.
THE VENUE
this summer we will create an immersive playground of music, food and drink. Solomons’ yard plays on the heritage of the historic location ‘think Peaky Blinders with a heavy touch of glamour’ Punters will be served cocktails by gorgeous flapper girls in this stunning lock side location while being tempted by the food on offer from some of London's best loved street food traders. Solomons’ Yard will offer a different experience every night with international DJs, live performances and theatrical theming providing the backdrop to the event.

2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
